Posted by: | CommentsKiller Marketing Strategy No. 10
For the ultimate wow factor, the killer conversion tool, the second chance giver – I present to you… the FOLLOW-UP!
So what is a follow-up? It is simply a phone call, a letter, an email or SMS to either: your prospects, first time customers, existing customers (or business alliances)…
The benefits of following-up include:
• It has your prospects and customers feel special and appreciated
• It has you salvage a sale that you were on the verge of losing to a competitor
• It has you stay top of mind with customers and prospects
• It gives you a second opportunity for further selling
• It gives you an opportunity to ask, or be told, important market research for your business
• If customers or prospects are unhappy, it can stop negative word-of-mouth
• You will stand out from the crowd, because how many businesses bother to follow-up? Not many!
Make following up clock-work! It’s cheap, simple and hugely effective!

How many stories have you heard about the world’s best sellers who got to where they are today simply by writing a thank you card?
It’s the simple things in life that make the biggest difference. So ask yourself, what can I do to wow my prospects or customers? Is it a call on their birthday? A Free ticket to a rock concert or sporting event, or just a quick email to say Thank You!
Sales Training

Wow, sales training a marketing strategy? Who would have thought?
Sales Training is one of the most valuable marketing strategies you can put into place. How many sales are you losing because you or your staff or not trained in the art of making sales?
Countless businesses go to great lengths with their marketing, only to have prospects deal with untrained, unprofessional people within that business. I’ve left plenty of shops after encountering a sales rep who didn’t know what they were talking about. Yet these businesses spend millions to get me there. How wasteful!
Make sure that anyone in your business who interacts with customers, and especially prospects, is sales trained and knows what they are doing to capitalize on all the opportunities walking through your door.
Bundling Together
Posted by: | CommentsKiller Marketing Strategy No. 7
A bundle is where two products, or services, or a mix of the two, are sold together. For example: “Attend Our Workshop and Get a Free Audio CD Pack”. It allows you to sell two products when you would normally only sell one. Yes, a bundle is usually more expensive, but proportionally less than buying both items separately. It can be used like a reseller when bundling with a 2nd business, or you can use it as an up-sell to earn more income for yourself.
The governing rule applies – you MUST give more value to receive more money!
